*opinion is very much divided on even which decade this unaired commercial was produced. The Hamlet campaign ran for many years through the 70s and 80s. 1986 seems a likely option for two reasons: it was a major year in the move to ban such advertising (with tobacco commercials banned in cinemas) which may have been a causal factor in this promotion going unaired, and also the advert uses soundtrack from The Seeds of Death (as mixed in the final show) which could put it soon after 1985 when the story came out on VHS.
**filmed at Panopticon New Orleans, July 12-14 1985

オズの魔法使い / Oz no Mahou Tsukai / The Wizard of Oz
Oz no Mahou Tsukai was an anime adaptation of Frank Baum’s Oz books. It incorporates the slit-scan effect from the 1974-1980 Doctor Who titles (unofficially known as the ‘time tunnel’). This footage had been part of a collection of visual and sound effects that the BBC had sold to overseas production companies.
The time tunnel footage was used in scenes where Dorothy traveled to or from the Land of Oz. These scenes appeared in Episodes 1, 17, 31 & 44. Oz no Mahou Tsukai was dubbed into many different languages for overseas broadcast, always retaining the time tunnel footage.

The English and French dubs added a flashback scene to Episode 17. This included the time tunnel footage from Episode 1. This addition later carried over to Spanish dub #2.
The German dub had unique opening titles, largely made up of the time tunnel scene from Episode 1.
Moondreamers was a segment of US cartoon anthology My Little Pony ‘n Friends, added to its lineup in approximately February 1987. Two scenes, from Episodes 2 & 15, featured a slit-scan effect that may have been the one from the 1974-1980 Doctor Who titles (it’s difficult to be certain, as several other visual effects are also on-screen).
Moondreamers was dubbed into seven languages for overseas broadcast and home video releases. Several dubs included only select episodes, and not the complete series.
