At some point in Dr Poo history, the Doctor, Dana, Dennis and Kevin the Announcer materialised in the pages of the magazine Stir. Fan Warren remembers that it was quite a trek to the shops to buy this specialist mag, and he didn’t collect many issues. The pages below come from the issues he bought and saved with his Poo memorabilia.
The strip is notably credited to (the artist) Mortensen, (Ken) Matthews and (Steve) Johnston – evidentally these strips were written without the involvement of Geoff Kelso or Lance Curtis. The strips are introduced by Kevin, represented by a radio microphone, and the characters complain about being badly drawn and underdeveloped – they’re just as contrary on the page as on radio!
