Promo: Rose
When the press attended the launch night in Cardiff on 8th March for the 2005 series of
Doctor Who, not only were 75 repackaged copies of
classic series stories made available, so was a DVD of the first episode.
Along with the episode itself, as broadcast (well, except for Graham Norton's
interruptions), the disc also featured two bonuses:
- A 5'11" promo featuring clips from the series - similar to, but not the
same as, a much shorter version show on Jonathan Ross' show on 25th March
that year.
- A 4'25" promo for Doctor Who Confidential, featuring mainly clips from
the series (with captions that differed from the ones actually used) and
ending in an advert card, as displayed above.
