A new beginning for a new Doctor would
signify a new way of marketing the DVD range. Apart from the obvious difference that from 'Rose' onwards no episodes would see an analogue release, 2Entertain took the unprecedented decision to release "vanilla" versions throughout 2005, beginning during the broadcast of the series itself, and then release a lavish box-set for Christmas with added bonus features. Sony's new UMD format, exclusively compatible with its PSP handheld gaming system, would also get a look-in. |
